not quite a reason to be but...

at least a pretty good reason to work....

This is where I am hoping most of the money I will earn when i start working again will go...in preparation for our highly awaited meat-pie-tour-of-autraia....
I didn't think the day would come that i would have any sort of interest in cars, let alone jeeps (eventhough i guess, it might as well be a jeep!!) but there you go. i don't think it is so much the car as a growing desire to get on the road and go around this bloody big country, mate!!
hum, i am expecting two comments now...
what about getting a license..? well, what's better than your own car and your own 5000km stretch of straight emptiness to learn huh? (just kidding, i'll learn before but it will be good practice afterwards)
and what about getting a JOB...? well again, i am working on it but the negotiations have currently reached a stage where i am being ignored... will keep you updated... but one thing looks certain is that i am not starting tomorrow which is what i was hoping for...good things come to those who wait.... but not too long!!

Bisous, Papa.

Hit the road, man. As I've said before, if I can do it, any idiot can, roight ? I got my first licence when I was around 25 or 26 to drive Papa around with his broken leg so you are already way ahead of your vieille. As for a Jeep, well I guess the Outback justifies it more than the swanky streets of Fort Worth which is what I explained to Marc who said all we think about is "sauver les bébés phoques." And as for the job, sounds like it's time to prend ton courage and your telephone à 3 mains if you want to enlève une belle chandelle from your foot ...

So that all your faithful readers can understand, I say shoe-ah, get yourselves a "ute" to escape "the big smoke" and spend some time at a "station" as a "jackaroo" and "jillaroo" or actually perhaps you'd rather be a "bait layer" calling all the cowboys in to "have a feed" or even better, "have a shout" !

P.S. None of that Straia vocab was on my magnets except the most important word : shout

By the way, little Suri looks quite a bit like the adorable baby girl in the frog frame on my desk.

she looks pretty cute with all that hair but i'm not sure that a photo of her hidding inside tom's jacket will stop the suspicions that she is most probably physically deformed....

choose your words carefully my favourite frenchie, as the world of scientology has eyes and ears everywhere... and you do not want to experience the rath of tom.... and john.... and james.... and other scientology wierdos

If you had rushed to your local newsstand the way I did yesterday, you would have seen the other 22 pages of Annie Leibovitz pix in Vanity Fair showing the Suri is a lovely baby from head to toe. I think her mother seems very warm and tender and I don't give a hoot about Tom's beliefs.
