the best way to get over a fall....

.. is to jump back on the horse/bike!
well i am happy to announce that after a baking disaster trauma, i am back in the game with a delish pear and ginger cake that I made for chris tonight as the result of a combination of love and boredom spending the day at home.
still, a very fun part of the day was spent on the phone with da Fro and that wasn't boring at all, it was good and really fun,
that's all for now, more news lata!!

skype is ridiculously good, happy chatting, especially with fb's new internet connection, it finally won't be cheaper to fly to texas rather than email

Sounds yummalicious, so please do remember the receipe for Xmas. My free 10 minutes turned out to be 10 minutes avec une heure devant ! (Inspired by "un 2 avec un zero derrière" from your Vernier days)And yes, it sure was fun to chat. Now it's time for me to head for the polls to do my small part in trying to change this country. I can't change it into France to give Christo a more exotic holiday but we will definitely feed him foie gras.

Time for an update since I see you are having a rainy and therefore probably at home weekend or are you too busy baking yummy surprises for when Christo gets home from work ?

Anonymous said...

yeah butterfly, with your new busy social schedule there should be loads to update us with... for example how cool it will be to have your bf living so close soon!

Anonymous said...

which has nothing to do with being a social butterfly but is worthy of a mention all the same

What do I hear ? Is there a "Chez Cazita" or should I say "Casa Cazita" in the makings ?

Anonymous said...

You will surely envy me for having seen Barack Obama and Maggie Gyllenhaal last night on the same talk show. So are you being a social buttahfly these days ?

P.S. You have best regards from the Gap lingerie salesgirl by the way. Mommy talked to her at length while I was trying on some pants yesterday.

No, it's from astronaut land, not from your Huxley town with a population of 298 people, even smaller than Dubya's Crawford ranch town.

But I take this occasion to salute Aldous Huxley of "Brave New World" fame.

I agree with Caz. I'd say, "I'll drink to that," if I hadn't seen horrifying figures on the number of deaths due to alcohol in Europe and they are surely equally alarming where I am and where you are : http://www.lemonde.fr/web/infog/0,47-0@2-3226,54-841872@51-840299,0.html
So have fun when you celebrate and do be careful.
And yes, howz about a new post ?
