give me some red, give me some gloss

here is a pre-design sketch of our next big project... now that we have finished the bedroom bench ensemble, we feel that the lounge room needs a serious revamping!!
give us some feedback, if we knew what we were doing, we would be industrial designers...

me likey, me likey much, i'll photocopy the furniture design ergonomics that i have for my class, it's easy to read, and seeing as you have a lounging bit you might like to look at it.

i like the red, i like it alot, and the zebra print oh lala. the structure looks simple enough that you FB might be able to have a crack at it too, and it might get done in half the time!!! the plywood panel on the back should work well in terms of cross bracing, as i have found that the corners of rectangles are a weak point in furniture, and need triangulation.

is that the feed back you were looking for?? probably not but i got the instinct for too much information from my old man.

i like it, i like it alot

"When in doubt, wear red" right? I'm sure Papa can also give you some technical info to complement Caz's. I particularly like the North East West corner of the piece when you are standing with your back to the door ...

I dream of having a bookshelf seen in a few museums. It is a large and colorful semi-circle with diagonal shelves jutting out of it. Few of the books can stand straight up but it is still über cool.
